A site evaluation is done prior to fuel polishing. This will include fuel sampling, tank access evaluation, fuel level and tank capacity and consultation as to solutions regarding long term fuel storage.

An On-Site Diesel Fuel Polishing Services quote will be provided and upon acceptance, the work will be scheduled based on the customer requirements.

Prior to polishing the fuel, it is treated with Perfect Fuel Diesel Fuel Conditioner. Proper conditioning of the fuel is a mandatory step in the proper polishing of the fuel.

The fuel is then filtered, conditioned (to reverse the sludge forming process called re-polymerization) and if water is present, removed.

The fuel is filtered to 10 or 3 micron (important note: fuel should NEVER be filtered to below 3 micron as important materials will be removed from the fuel that are critical to its performance and the reliability of the engine.)

After polishing, samples are provided and can be sent to an independent lab if further evaluation is requested.

A report is issued with a polishing process, results, and suggestions to enhance fuel quality in the future.

If requested, a tank integrity test can be performed at this time.
